HA7 - Task 2 Applying Research Techniques

Quantitative Research questions

Here you can see my first question. In this question I asked people what there gender was from this I then could  determine what my target audience was to then ask other questions about GTA V  this question was important because it helped me find out what kind of people were  interested  in the survey. 

 

In my second Question I asked peoples age to try and get a good Idea on who was playing GTA V this also helped me to find out if the age of someone actually mattered because say if they were fifteen and playing the game which is an eighteen it would show me that the age restrictions don’t really matter to some people.

 

In my third question I ask the gender of people to find out if it mattered what you Race was and to find out if it affected the amount of people playing GTA V this question also helped me to find out if people actually cared about the games content I.E gang related activity in the game.

In my fourth question I asked people if they played games because if they didn’t it would be pointless this question also helped me to get an idea of how many people actually played games so this could me that they have either played or seen a GTA V game.

 

In my fifth question I actually asked people if they have played GTA V because after all this questionnaire is about GTA V this question also helped me to find out who actually liked the game and played it so it give me a good understanding on who plays GTA V.

This question was to get an understanding of who has played GTA titles the point of this was to find out if people like the GTA game genre this also helped me to get a good understanding of who actually likes the game and who actually is interred in it.

This next question actually asks if the person doing the survey has actually bought GTA V the reason being that the questionnaire is about GTA V so it would make sense to see if the person doing the questionnaire has the game.  

This question asks the person who is doing the survey what they would rate GTA V the reason for this is because it gives me a good idea on what people think about GTA V and if it’s actually worth people’s money.

This question asks how long people play GTA V for to help me find out how popular and amusing the game is from the amount of time people put into the game this is important because this shows what people do with their free time.

This question asks people what region they live in the reason for this is because it can show me where the game is popular in and it shows me what sort of people like and play the game just from where they live.

Qualitative Research

In this set of questions you can see how the questions are more personal by asking a persons gender this helps me by fining out which gender prefer this game more than the opposite gender.

This question asks people of they like the overall look and style of GTA V to help me see if people like the look of the game before they actually go and buy it.

In this question asks people what there favourite character in GTA V is this is to help me see which characters people prefer and why they actually like the characters rather than just finding out who they like with no actual reason.

This last question asks people if they had the chance what would they do to improve the game the reason for this is because it helps me find out some of the problems with GTA V and it helps me see what people wold do to improve them.
